The Unexplored Mount Pangeon

The Unexplored Mount Pangeon is a mountain range which constitutes the northwestern region of Makedonia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, misthios Kassandra explored the mountain and found it to be inhabited largely by wild animals,[1] though the region also hosted Olynthos Fortress as well as both a small farm and a goat farm for livestock. The Order of Hunters' Magus Pactyas and its member Phratagounè were fond of the region. While Pactyas made his base within a hidden glade inside the mountain and the grove outside it, Phratagouné tamed the local bears and lived with them in their den.[2]
