- "Nikolaos warned me about snakes in the grass, but I wasn't expecting this."
- ―Kassandra, around 431 BCE
The Snake Temple was a ruined temple within the Valley of the Snake in Phokis, Greece.
Around 431 BCE, the misthios Kassandra explored the ruins, finding them crawling with guards of the Cult of Kosmos, as well as the skeleton of a gigantic snake wound around the rocks of the ruins.[1]
Kassandra also found Elpenor, hiding in a nearby cavern.[2]
