Orichalcum is a legendary metal mentioned in various ancient Greek writings.

History

During the Peloponnesian War, orichalcum ore could be found throughout Greece, so that Sargon, a merchant in Phokis, used it as a form of currency in trading. The Spartan misthios Kassandra found bits of the ore during her travels and traded them with Sargon for equipment. Orichalcum was also offered as a reward for certain bounties^[1], offering 10 orichalcum for a daily quest and marked with a rare orichalcum image on the bounty board, and 40 orichalcum for a weekly quest and marked with a legendary orichalcum image on the bounty board. Kassandra once earned the mercenary tier S3 and earned 10% more orichalcum from bounty board quests.
