Odysseus's Palace

Odysseus's Palace was a palace situated on Ithaka, said to be the personal residence of Odysseus, the hero in Homer's epic poem Odyssey.

Sometime in 431 BCE, the palace was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who was sent by Elpenor to retrieve the Shroud of Penelope.[1] While recovering the shroud, Kassandra came across a descendant of Odysseus, Odessa, who was held captive in a cage. After freeing her, Kassandra accompanied the adventurer to explore the ruins, before escorting her to the beach to safety.[2]
