Nike, also known as Victoria in Roman mythology, is the Greek goddess and personification of victory. She's often depicted with wings and can be found on many old Greek coins.

In some works she's described as the daughter of Ares, whilst in others she's the daughter of the titan Pallas and the goddess Styx.

Trivia

  • The Greek word for Nike, Νίκη, literally means 'victory'.
