Ktimene Beach

Ktimene Beach was a beach situated on the eastern coast of the Greek island of Kephallonia, south of Sami.

In 431 BCE, Phoibe, a friend of Kassandra, was kidnapped by followers of the Cyclops of Kephallonia, who brought them to a hut on the beach. Kassandra, after learning the location from Euterpe, travelled to the beach and freed the girl.^[1]

Trivia

In Greek mythlogy, Ktimene is the name of the younger sister of Odysseus, the king of Ithaka.
