The Altar of Artemis was a small shrine located near the Temple of Artemis in Mykonos City on Mykonos, Greece.

At the altar, the goddess was especially worshipped in her guise as Hekaerge, meaning 'striking from a distance'.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra met with Kyra, the leader of the Silver Islands' rebels, at the shrine before they embarked on a hunting trip.[2]
