The Followers of Ares' flag, depicting their god

The Followers of Ares was a minor Greek faction who worshipped Ares, the Greek god of war. They were notable for their practice of sacrificing the land's fauna in service to their god. They were hostile to anyone who stumbled upon them and would often visit towns to preach their religion.^[1]

Harpalos, the leader of the faction, was also a member of the Cult of Kosmos. He would later be hunted down by the Spartan misthios Kassandra on her quest to destroy the Cult. Also, during her travels she encountered the Followers of Ares many times in ancient ruins through Greece.^[2]
