Aikaterine.

Aikaterine was an Athenian hetaera who served at the House of Aphrodite.

In around 424 BCE, Aikaterine was the 'muse' of the moment for the actor Thespis. Due to this relationship, her life was threatened by the Commander Rhexenor, as she was involved in Aristophanes' plot to tarnish the reputation of the Athenian general Kleon. When Kassandra approached her to act in Aristophanes' play starring Thespis she could not accept it while Rhexenor lived. After Kassandra dealt with Rhexenor, Aikaterine was free to perform in the play.[1]
