Kassandra infiltrating a village belonging to the cult

The Daughters of Artemis was a minor Greek faction who worshipped Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt. The Daughters of Artemis saw themselves as protectors of the land's flora and fauna, and made use of animals like bears to protect it.[1]

History

In 431 BCE, the current leader, Daphnae, tasked the Spartan misthios Kassandra with the hunting of several legendary creatures found across Greece. Daphnae later revealed that this process was to select a new leader for the Daughters of Artemis, the challenger and current leader would have to fight to the death for the right to be leader.[2]
