The Travelers' Camp was an encampment east of AlUla Cemetery in Southern Wilds, Al-Ula Valley. It served as a stop for many different merchants and even included a stable.

History

In the 860, Dervis and Basim ibn Ishaq, who had come to the region following leads on Basim's missing father, Ishaq ibn Khalid, joined the camp, erecting a tent that they used as a headquarters while investigating.[1]

During Basim's time in the region, he climbed a nearby rock to better orient himself, taking note of other landmarks from above.[2] At the camp, a merchant asked Basim to sample a new drink he was selling. After trying coffee for the first time, Basim suggested the addition of milk, much to the merchant's disdain.[3]

After confronting the apparent leader of the robbers and being poisoned in return, Basim collapsed while attempting to return to safety. Being found by a civilian who alerted Dervis, Basim was taken to the Travelers' Camp where Dervis nursed him back to health.[4]
