Tethys

Tethys is a Titan and a daughter of Uranus and Gaia in Greek mythology.

By the 5th century BCE, a small cave on the island of Kephallonia was dedicated to Tethys. It was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra around 431 BCE.^[1]
