Socrates (470/469 BCE – 399 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy. He was the teacher of Plato.

During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze retrieved a copy of Aesop's Fables in Constantinople which was attributed to Socrates.[1]

Trivia

  • Socrates appears in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey as a quest giver. His dialogue is malleable, and will engage the player in philisophical debates. The subjects will vary depending on their prior actions.[2]
