The Abaton was a building that was located within the Sanctuary of Asklepios in Argolis, Greece.

It was the dormitory where the patients of the sanctuary would withdraw to dream after a series of rites, hoping Asklepios, the god of healing, would grant them a vision of their cure.[1]
