The Unexplored Mount Pangeon

The Unexplored Mount Pangeon is a mountain range which constitutes the northwestern region of Makedonia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the mountain, finding it to be inhabited largely by wild animals.[1] However, there were also a couple of goat farms and a military fort. In addition, Pactyas the Huntsman, the Magi of the Order of Hunters, and Phratagounè the Keeper, a member of said branch, were fond of the region. While Pactyas made his base within a hidden glade inside the mountain and the grove outside it, Phratagouné tamed the local bears and lived with them in their den.[2]
