Sunken Wreck of Datis was a shipwreck located southwest of the island of Delos.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the location, finding one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within[1], as well as bandit outfits for the crew of the ship Adrestia.[2]
Trivia
- Datis was a Persian general who served the empire under Darius I of Persia. On his way back from the Battle of Marathon in 490 BCE, Datis stopped at Mykonos and Delos.
