The Smuggler's Shipwreck was a shipwreck located southeast of Euboea, near the ruined city of Eretria.
History
The ship had belonged to the criminal group called the Dagger, but at some point during the Peloponnesian War a slave master and his ship engaged it in battle. The latter perished in the skirmish, and only one of the slave master's former slaves escaped to the ruins of Eretria. She had observed the wrecking of the shipwreck, noting the Dagger's interest.[1]
Sometime later, the Spartan misthios Kassandra reached the shipwreck and looted its treasures, among them sails and finery featuring the Chimera for the Adrestia, as well as an unusual dagger.[2]
