Pylos is a town in Messenia, Greece, that once was a Mycenaean polis during the 1st millennium BCE.

The city was the site of a battle fought between Sparta and Athens in 425 BCE, during the Peloponnesian War. The Spartan misthios Kassandra and her younger brother Alexios took part in the battle as well, fighting on opposing sides.[1]

Trivia

  • Despite Pylos being the place of where the battle took place, the city itself does not appear in the game.
