The Anthylla Outpost was a military outpost located near Mareia Port in Sap-Meh Nome, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE.
Around 48 BCE, the captain of the outpost ordered a chariot-maker by the name of Eryx to craft a war chariot. Eryx did as asked, but when the captain came to collect, he offered only half of what they'd agreed. Eryx didn't agree to the trade, so the captain killed him and took the chariot to the outpost. There, he took it out for joy rides with one of his soldiers.[1]
Some time after, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa met Eryx's widow, Europa, who told him the tale. The Medjay agreed to hunt down the captain responsible, and destroy the chariot.[1]
