The Cult sought out what was old, looting tombs and ruins like petty grave robbers. Few knew what they were looking for. With the looting done, they tasked Midas of Argos with destroying all traces of these ancient sites from histroy. By day, he was known simply as a wealthy, if ruthless, banker. By night, everything Midas touched turned to fire.

He would gain their trust and make them think he was their friend, thus gaining their secrets, which e would then offer to his Sage who would use them to her advantage in the future. Midas of Argos (died 431 BCE) was a member of the Eyes of Kosmos, a branch of the Cult of Kosmos, who operated during the Peloponnesian War.
