Prior to joining the Cult, Melite served as a priest in a temple in Greece. After killing every worshippers under him, he left and joined the Worshippers of the Bloodline branch, serving under the Sage Iokaste.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, Melite was dispatched by Iokaste to search for an Isu ruin, which was located in the region of Pephka on the Greek island of Krete. In light of this, Melite wrote a letter to fellow member Diona, who was based on Kythera Island. In the letter, Melite addressed his mission to her, suggesting that the bloodline of Deimos may have originated there. He also wrote that provided on insight on his former life and the killing he had done, stating that Diona was the only one who could know the truth about him.[1]

After arriving on the island, Melite settled down in a villa in Kydonia belonging to a local sculptor, using it as his base of operations while he search for the ruins.[1] Sometime during the 420s BCE, he was assassinated by the misthios Kassandra, recovering an Artifact Fragment, a waistband and a letterfrom his body.[2]
