Lambert (died 1873) was the host and butler at Château Aarden in Brussels, Belgium.
Biography
In 1871, Lambert worked as the host and butler of the Château Aarden to Austrian Templar Countess Konstanze von Visler and her frequent guest, the British Assassin Simeon Price. For the next two years, he catered to both Konstanze and her guests, who were either Price or her fellow Templars.[1] In the summer of 1873, Lambert was tasked by the Templars, who stated that Konstanze and Simeon's relationship had run its course, to kill Simeon. One morning before Simeon met with the countess, Lambert tried to garrote him but was overpowered and killed by Price.[2]
