Heraklion

Heraklion is the largest city and the administrative capital of Messara, Greece. Named after the Greek hero, Herakles, the city was a small town which served as a port for the city of Knossos in classical antiquity.

During the Peloponnesian War the town was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra. At this point, the town served as the base of operations for the Swordfish, an operative of the Heroes of the Cult branch of the Cult of Kosmos.[1]
