Edonos the Charging Bull (died c. 420s BCE) was a mercenary who operated on the Greek island of Krete during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography

Wielding an axe and a shield, Edonos was known for his antics of charging his adversaries when backed into a corner.[1]

Between 429 and 422 BCE, he was hunted down by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who obtained his signature axe[2]
