Agave was a Greek woman living near the Chora of Delphi during the 5th century BCE.

Agave was the sister of Lykaon, the local healer, and the granddaughter of Praxithea.[1]

Trivia

  • The name Agave is derived from the Greek word ἀγαυός (agauós), which means 'noble, illustrious'.
