The Celts were a group of Indo-European peoples which inhabited Europe. Within the Middle Ages, they followed a unique set of beliefs, which was known as Celtic paganism.[1] In 122, the Celtic Britons were kept out due to the Roman Emperor Hadrian's construction of his wall.[2] Before the 5th century, a group of Celtic witch-warriors called the Women of the Mist took residence in the mysterious isle of Avalon within England and worked to protect anyone in need and spy on any outsiders working against them.[3] In the late 9th century, the Celts were spread across the countries of England, Scotland, and Ireland.[4]
