The Snake Temple, also called the Snake Ruins, was a ruined temple within the Valley of the Snake in Phokis, Greece.
Around 431 BCE, the misthios Kassandra explored the ruins, finding them crawling with guards of the Cult of Kosmos, as well as the skeleton of a gigantic snake wound around the rocks of the ruins.[1]
Kassandra also found Elpenor hiding in a nearby cavern.[2]
