A view of the Marble Quarry

Salamis Marbe Quarry was an Athenian quarry located on the Isle of Salamis, Greece during the 5th century BCE.

The quarry was owned by the family of Brison, a member of the Delian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos, and following the Cult's demand for him to kill the Athenian sculptor Phidias, Brison withdrew to the quarry.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra infiltrated the quarry, killing Brison and finding one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within.[2]
