The Sacred Cave was an underground cavern located by the Temple of Apollo within the city of Korinth, in Korinthia, Greece.
The Cave was a place of worship, and housed a statue of the Greek god Ares. The Cave was also occupied by The Monger's men.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the place, finding one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within.[2]
