The Red Lake Bay was one of the regions of Lokris, Greece. Named after the strikingly colored Red Lake—its color enhanced by the white of the salt flats in the region—the bay housed the main settlement of Lokris, Opous.
During the Peloponnesian War, the lake was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
