Pactyas (died 412 BCE), known by his cryptonym as the Huntsman, was a member of the Order of the Ancients who led its Order of Hunters-branch against Darius and the Tainted Ones during the 5th century BCE.

Formerly a member of the Persian elite and a friend of both Amorges and Artabanus, he joined the former after the latter attempted to assassinate King Artaxerxes I.^[1]

Leading a small branch, Pactyas pursued Artabanus, now known as Darius, across Persia and eventually to Makedonia, Greece.^[1]
