Isu Shards also known as Keys were pieces of Isu technology used to open various doors and chambers made by the precursor race.

Appearances

Shards found on the Isle of Skye during the Viking expansion were triangular and golden, on the front face of the plate was a vertical dash. These shards were identical in apperance only to the Artifact Fragments that made up the Pyramid, while those could be used to upgrade certain Pieces of Eden these keys were made to open doors.[1]

Thouse Shards found around Baghdad were less triangular and more rugged, panel lines covered the shard. While a different shape from those found in other places they still fit into the same triangular slots on pedestals.[2]
