The Echoes of the Styx was natural rock formation in the Chasm of Torment, within the simulation of Hades.
This rock formation could be found on the riverbed of the river Styx and featured some Isu buildings. It was occupied by the shaded. On the upper ridge was a camp with a bloodstained statue of Aphrodite in the middle. The statue and its pedestal were used to burn corpses.
During the Peloponnesian War, Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the area, sealed two Tartaros Rifts, claimed some valuables, and found an Ainigmata Ostraka.[1]
