Akamas (died c. 429 BCE) was a Spartan boy who was finishing his agoge at the Agoge Camp North under Iatrokles during the Peloponnesian War.

Believing Akamas and his fellow trainee, Theoros, were ready to prove themselves, Iatrokles sent them to the overnight camp to stay the night. However, during the night the boys saw bandits creeping along the mountains, and a scuffle ensued. Akamas was slain, and Theoros captured.[1]
