The Chariot of Amphiaraos

The Chariot of Amphiaraos was the site wherein a ruined chariot laid on cracked earth in the Cursed Land of Oedipous in Boeotia, Greece.

According to the myth, the god Zeus threw a lightning bolt which split the earth. The ravine swallowed Amphiaraos, who was trying to flee aboard his chariot.[1]
