The Cave of Pan was a natural grotto within Marathon Beach region of Attika, Greece. It was one of the caves dedicated to the Greek god of wilderness, Pan.

Outside of the entrance were boulders that resembled a herd of goats. During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the cave, finding it to be occupied by Followers of Ares. She slew them and looted their treasures.[1]
