The Cave of Danaos was a natural cavern located within the Promontory of Skylla in Argolis, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the cave, finding that wolves had made it their lair.[1]

Trivia

  • The cave's name likely references Danaus, a King of Libya and the first king of Argos in Greek mythology.
