Brasidas of Sparta (died 422 BCE) was a Spartan officer who lived during the 5th century BCE.
In 431 BCE, he assisted a fellow Spartan and misthios, Kassandra, in destroying a warehouse belonging to The Monger, a member of the Cult of Kosmos based in Korinth. Two years later, following Kassandra's and Myrrine's return to Lakonia, he assisted them in their efforts to reclaim their citizenship and home.
6 years later in 425 BCE, he participated in the defense of Pylos in Messenia against Athens, suffering heavy injuries during the battle.
