The Battle of Boeotia was an engagement which took place in Boeotia around 426 BCE, fought by the forces of Sparta against Boeotia, who were allies with Athens.
History
After the disappearance of Nikolaos after the Battle of Megara, his step-son Stentor was appointed as polemarch of the army and was dispatched to conquer Boeotia, who were allies of Athens and the Delian League.[1]
In 429 BCE, the misthios Kassandra was dispatched by King Archidamos and Pausanias to assist the Spartans in Boeotia in order to redeem herself and claim back her home in Sparta.[2]
