Ukbara

Ukbara was a town on the left bank of the Tigris river, located north of Baghdad.

In the 860s, the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq visited the town and helped a woman named Tiferet recover a lustreware amphora from her mother's home, which had been partially destroyed by a flood.[1]
