The Pillar of Dionysos

The Pillar of Dionysos was a statue and an altar dedicated to Dionysos, the Greek god of wine and theater, in the Kithairon Foothills of Megaris, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the statue was visited by the misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the Followers of Ares acolytes occupying the area.[1]
