Alfonso del Castillo was a Spanish conquistador who fought under the command of Hernán Cortés during the conquest of the Aztec Empire. Following a battle against the Tlaxcaltec, Alfonso witnessed Cortés using a Dagger of Eden on Chimalpopoca, a native captured commander, to convince him to help him broker peace between their people.[1]
Alfonso is an ancestor of Owen Meyers, a teenager who relived his memories in the 21st century.[1]
