The Piamouei Colossi were twin statues located in the river of Faiyum Oasis, northeast of Krokodilopolis during the 1st century BCE of the Ptolemaic Kingdom. These were situated on both sides of the riverbank, and it depicted men wearing Nemes in seated positions with arms resting on their laps.
In around 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa found a bandit corpse and a chest guarded by cobras. He then took care of the snakes and looted the treasure.[1]
