The remains of Minmontu

Biography[edit | edit source]

Minmontu previously served the pharaoh, Cleopatra, and opposed Rudjek, the Nomarch of Saqqara and a member of the Order of the Ancients. After Rudjek's death, his mistress, Suphia, believed Minmontu to have played a part in his death, resulting in Suphia kidnapping the worker and killing him in the hills behind the mine. His rotted body and belongings were later found by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa when he returned to the mine sometime later..[1]

The note next to Minmontu's body reads:[1]

This man was working for Cleopatra. He betrayed Giza. He betrayed my love, Rudjek, and he betrayed the Gods. This loot has been cursed. He who touches it touches the sad ka of Minmontu who is here taken by Ra. I remain Rudjek's eternal goddess, Suphia.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Minmontu's remains can be found in a local area called "Unfortunate Stash" in Nitria.[1]
