Larder Station Hideout

Larder Station Hideout was one of the camps of bandits following the Son of Ra, set in White Desert Oasis, Egypt, during the 1st century BCE. North of it was the bandits' other hideout, and between Dionysias and the Oasis another, set into the ruins of an old temple of the crocodile-god Sobek.

At the Larder Station, the bandits slew and skinned crocodiles, as well as fed them with farmers from Dionysias, after torturing them. This fate awaited also Rahotep's father, who the bandits had first tortured and blinded.[1]

Fortunately, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa met Addaya, an escaped farmer, and the man's ranting led the Medjay to Rahotep, and together they sought to save what remained of the villagers. Bayek infiltrated the northern hideout, freeing the farmers, and together they raided the Larder Station hideout, referred to as a "crocodile pit" by Turo, saving Rahotep's father in the process.[1]
