Diaoyu Castle, also known as Diaoyucheng, was a Chinese fortification located in Hechuan, Chongqing.

In 1259, the castle was the site of a battle fought between the Song dynasty of China and the invading Mongol Empire. During the siege, Möngke Khan, the Great Khan of the Mongols, was assassinated by Zhang Zhi, the Assassin initiate and daughter of a Song commander who had perished in the battle.[1]
