The Confiscated Stathmos was a villa in Faiyum Oasis, located south of Krokodilopolis. It had been repurposed by the Ptolemaic Army as a storehouse for grains and was therefore guarded by several Greek soldiers. The villa also held two treasure chests.

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa invaded the place and killed the guards in order to loot its valuables.[1]
