Apollodorus' informants was a group of Greek and Egyptian people who worked for Apollodorus all over Lower Egypt and Cyrenaica during the 1st century BCE. They reported to him of the comings and going of Roman forces, and the local Egyptians, and for this, were hunted down and executed whenever the Romans had the chance.[1]
