Sapi-Res Ruins

The Sapi-Res Ruins was an old structure in Sapi-Res Nome, Egypt.

By 48 BCE, the ruins were filling with water, and inhabited by hippos. At some point during 48 BCE, the ruins were used by the Cult of Serqet to perform a ritual. Their traces drew the attention of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa who explored the ruin, finding a sarcophagus adorned with the symbol of the scorpion-goddess, Serqet, as well as a cadaver at the bottom of a water hole.^[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Due to being desecrated by the Cult of Serqet these ruins were probably connected to Horus in some way once upon a time, given that their 'mission statement' was to gather "facets of the four gods -- Sekhmet, mistress of the desert, Serapis, lord of transition, Sobek, lord of the Nile, and Horus, lord of the sky. Their followers will be initiated into our order in their holy places."^[1]
