"Atef-Pehu is the Northern Sycamore Nome, bordering the Old Capital and the Faiyum."
―Description.[src]

The Atef-Pehu Nome (English: Northern Sycamore Nome) was one of nomes of Egypt, bordering Memphis to the north, the Faiyum to the west and the Haueris Nome to the southwest.

History

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa passed by the village of Kerke during his journey to Faiyum. There, he met the village leader Meritmaat, who was having issues with a local commander. Bayek helped her to rescue a villager who had been held hostage at a nearby military outpost, and later agreed to help her eliminate the commander.[1]

At the same time, Bayek also destroyed a statue of Ptolemy XIII.[2]
